CPU stands for Central Processing Unit. The central processing unit is the brain of the
computer. It can be divided into ALU, CU and main memory. ALU stands for Arithmetic Logical
Unit which performs all the arithmetic and logical operations. CU stands for Control Unit
that controls all hardware operations. The CPU consists of a set of registers for various
operations during the execution of instructions.
Advantage of CPU:
It can perform arithmetic calculations which is addition, substraction, multiplication, division etc.
It can perform logical decisions.
It can perform manipulating tasks as word processing.
In Logical calculations it basically based on decision-making statements.
